Sherry L. Payne MSN RN
She received her MSN in nursing education from Research College of Nursing in Kansas City Missouri. She is a certified childbirth educator, trained doula, and certified breastfeeding educator and professional speaker and trainer. She has an inspiring message to share with audiences on the importance of successful lactation and normal birth and the impact these experiences have on the lives of women. After seven years in labor and delivery nursing, she started her own presenting and continuing education business in 2004. She has sat bedside with women in birth in a variety of settings and worked alongside a variety of birth care providers . She travels nationwide sharing her stories, and knowledge with other professional and lay audiences interested in knowing more about supporting and promoting successful lactation and normal birth. She authors the blog, The LaborPayne Epistles, sharing her stories and insights about birth and lactation. Ms. Payne resides in Overland Park Kansas with her husband and nine children, six of whom were homebirthed and breastfed.
